Logistics Operator 2 (600-C)

The L1 is responsible for the packaging of molded and/or assembled components per company and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Follow all safety procedures, including the use of PPE as required.
• Package, label, and stack product on skids per lot information and product specification.
• Report any out of line conditions, damaged equipment to supervisor or maintenance.
• Retrieve packing material from warehouse.
• Support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to health and safety requirements, GMP and standard work procedures, continuous improvement & ISO standards.
• Maintain clean workspace and 5S standards in work area.
• Operate packaging equipment as required per product specifications and/or work instructions.
• Complete packaging auxiliary equipment (TPM) total productive maintenance activities as needed.
• Follow instructions as required per ID sheets and visuals.
• Maintain lean initiatives and participate in lean projects.
• Provide suggestions and take active role in process improvements to eliminate non-value-added activity.
• Perform line clearances as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to read/write/speak English.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.

Work Environment:

• Works in a clean manufacturing warehouse environment that may include moderate noise levels.
