Transportation Coordinator

Join Daniels Health as a Transportation Coordinator in Salt Lake City, UT, and help drive healthcare safety forward. In this role at our brand new Salt Lake City Plant, you’ll be at the heart of our logistics operations—coordinating transportation schedules, supporting drivers, and ensuring timely, compliant movement of medical waste. Coordinate logistics and communication between plant operations, sales, and field teams to ensure smooth transportation workflows. Monitor driver activity and compliance using tools like Nextraq, ensuring adherence to DOT regulations and safety standards. Oversee vehicle maintenance and inspections, scheduling service and ensuring roadworthiness, cleanliness, and proper operation. Ensure manifest and order accuracy, reviewing load sheets and smart container quality to meet customer requirements. Analyze route efficiency to optimize cost savings and support continuous improvement in logistics processes. Support driver communication and training, preparing memos and assisting with health and safety compliance.
