Surgical Tech II

Job Summary Performs specialized technical duties in surgical or procedural settings under supervision, supporting the surgical team with equipment and instrumentation to ensure a safe and properly equipped operating environment. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma required; completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program required. Experience: At least 1 year of surgical technician experience preferred. Certifications: Must hold Surgical Technician Certification from The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or The National Center for Competency Testing, or certification from a U.S. Military or Public Health Service Surgical Technology Program. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within ninety days of hire.
