Associate Director IT Strategic Sourcing

DescriptionKforce has a client in need of an Associate Director IT Strategic Sourcing in Jersey City, NJ.Responsibilities:* Partner with technology and business leaders to support sourcing initiatives that align with organizational goals and budget objectives* Manage supplier relationships and cultivate strategic partnerships that deliver ongoing value and service excellence* Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contract standards, and purchasing processes* *Lead the end-to-end sourcing process, including vendor evaluations, RFP/RFQ activities, contract negotiations, and procurement execution* Monitor contract renewals and supplier agreements to optimize costs and minimize operational risk* Conduct regular business reviews with key vendors to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities* Analyze spend, contract, and supplier data to uncover cost-saving and process efficiency opportunities* Drive sourcing projects and vendor initiatives that support financial, operational, and risk management objectives* Stay informed on industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies to enhance sourcing strategies* Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contractual agreements with suppliers* Gather business requirements and evaluate procurement requests from internal stakeholders* Review vendor proposals and facilitate supplier selection processes with business partners and cross-functional teams* Coordinate supplier onboarding activities and assist with issue resolution throughout implementation* Provide stakeholders with updates on project status, timelines, and procurement activities* Collaborate with procurement, legal, finance, and technology teams to support category strategy and sourcing objectivesRequirements* 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, or vendor management within a large, complex organization* Demonstrated success managing sourcing events, contract negotiations, and supplier relationships across technology-related categories* Experience negotiating agreements for software, hardware, cloud services, telecommunications, managed services, or professional services* Strong understanding of technology suppliers, market trends, and emerging solutions* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into business-friendly language* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment* Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and drive initiatives with minimal oversight* High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy* Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation capabilities* Comfortable operating in evolving environments and supporting organizational change* Knowledge of procurement best practices, risk management principles, and internal controls* Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service* Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to establish and manage vendor performance expectations and service standardsJob TypeContractCompensation57 - $64
