Location Fort Leavenworth, Kansas (Remote authorized during emergencies)

Position Summary

The Site Lead / LMS Trainer serves as the primary point of contact and on-site manager for all contract activities supporting the Command and General Staff College (CGSC) Learning Management System. This role combines day-to-day operational leadership of the help desk team with responsibility for delivering quarterly training to CGSC staff and faculty on the Canvas/ASU Ecosystem platform.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of hands-on experience with Canvas LMS systems

• Demonstrated experience leading or supervising small teams

• U.S. Citizenship (required for NIPRNET access)

• Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Tier 1 (T1) suitability/background check

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience developing or delivering technical training is strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Management

• Serve as the primary contractor representative for all daily operational matters

• Maintain full authority to act on behalf of the contractor during contract performance

• Ensure stability and continuity of the help desk workforce

• Attend post-award conferences, quarterly in-progress reviews (IPRs), and all Government-requested meetings

• Report issues or potential performance problems to the COR within 8 working hours (verbal) and 3 business days (written)

Training Delivery

• Conduct a minimum of one (1) instructor-led training session per quarter for CGSC staff and faculty on the ASU Ecosystem/Canvas platform

• Deliver a faculty refresher training session prior to the start of each Academic Year (typically July–August)

• Update all training materials electronically at least every three (3) months and as needed to reflect system changes

• Provide all training materials to CGSC personnel following each training event

• Coordinate with the COR for training dates, times, and locations; reschedule any missed trainings within 3 days

Documentation

• Develop and maintain a Quality Control Plan (QCP) submitted within 10 business days of contract award

• Submit and maintain the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) within 10 days of Performance Start Date

• Provide user manuals and quick reference guides within 30 days of Performance Start Date; review quarterly

• Provide monthly ticket statistics reports to the COR in the format specified

• Maintain and submit Installation Pass Log within 5 calendar days of award; update as required
