As a Carrier Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for building strong carrier relationships, negotiating competitive rates, and collaborating closely with our customer sales team to ensure seamless, on-time delivery—contributing to the high-quality experience RPM is known for. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Establish, expand, and cultivate relationships with carriers in the auto hauling marketplace Identify, source, and procure new vehicle carrier relationships at key stakeholder levels Manage vehicle carrier network to ensure the ultimate RPM experience Maintain constant contact with vehicle carriers to secure additional truck capacity and manage existing business Utilize RPM’s proprietary software to make informed buying decisions Navigate RPM’s Transportation Management System and related tools to manage daily load operational tasks Ensure shipment details are accurately communicated and tracked in the system Preferred Qualifications Must excel in a team-based environment, while delivering independent results Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting Must be self-motivated and bring a can-do attitude to the job Work full-time M-F, and willing to work outside normal business hours based on the needs of the business Compensation and Benefits Base + Commission (uncapped) BCBS (medical), Delta Dental & VSP (vision) Life insurance, short & long-term disability – paid by RPM Maternity & Paternity Leave 401(k) with generous employer match Unlimited PTO – use it!
