Supervisory Public Health Advisor

As a Supervisory Public Health Advisor, you will: Provide strategic leadership and serve as a senior advisor on behavioral health policies, programs, and initiatives. Oversee program planning, implementation, evaluation, and performance to advance SAMHSA priorities and improve outcomes for diverse populations. Lead policy development, legislative activities, research, and program evaluation efforts. Coordinate with HHS and other Federal agencies to support evidence-based decision-making and achievement of Departmental goals. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with Federal, State, local, Tribal, and community partners. Represent SAMHSA in promoting behavioral health initiatives, strengthening partnerships, and advancing public health objectives. Direct organizational operations, workforce management, and resource planning. Supervise staff, oversee financial and administrative functions, and ensures compliance with Federal workforce and EEO requirements.
