Vice President Finance

Vice President of Finance – multi-location retail Vernon Hills, IL area Established multi-location retailer needs a Vice President of Finance to oversee all financial activities within the organization and implement financial strategies that drive growth and profitability. Minimum 10 years of proven experience in a senior financial leadership role. Experience in the convenience store/gasoline industry strongly preferred. Must have background in consumer retail industry. Develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support the company's strategic objectives. Manage cash flow, optimize working capital, and oversee cash forecasting. Hire, lead, coach the accounting team. Provide clear direction and guidance to the team, set performance expectations and foster positive work environment. Oversee accounting function, including general ledger management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, store accounting and inventory control. Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations & standards, including GAAP. Oversee and ensure compliance of 401k & Profit-Sharing plan, annual plan audit and tax filings. Monitor industry trends and economic conditions to identify risks and opportunities for the organization. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
