This contract position—full-time preferred, with consideration for part-time professionals—offers the chance to provide both direct and consultative services across assessment, intervention, and collaborative roles. The assignment extends through June 25, 2026, allowing you to impact students’ growth over multiple school years.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Valid New York State SLP license
• TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) certification, if required
• Strong background in both assessment and individualized therapy for school-aged children
• Experience in consultation and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams preferred

Responsibilities:

• Screen, evaluate, and assess students for a range of speech, language, fluency, voice, and articulation needs utilizing formal and informal tools
• Participate actively in CSE/CPSE meetings, helping to determine eligibility and develop, implement, and revise IEPs or individualized plans
• Deliver direct individual and group therapy, adapting interventions to each student’s needs; implement AAC when necessary and promote skills generalization in academic and social contexts
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and fellow service providers; participate in staff meetings and offer guidance or strategies to enhance students’ communication
• Maintain diligent records, ensuring compliance with IDEA and New York State education regulations; prepare detailed reports and progress documentation
• Keep credentials up to date and engage in ongoing professional development per state requirements
