ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit Information

The unit specializes in burn care and includes:

• Number of Beds: 8
• Staffing: 19 personnel
• Type of Staff:
  • Day Shift – 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 1 wound technician
  • Night Shift – 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs
• Patient Ratios: 1:2 to 1:3
• Type of Equipment: GE monitors, Plum IV Pumps
• EMR: Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

• Required:
  • Minimum of 1 year of current ICU RN experience
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Preferred: Skills that will enhance candidacy include experience with:
• ICU assessments, ventilator management, fluid resuscitation, and wound care
• Pain management techniques
