Specialty Pharmacist - Maternity Leave Coverage - Pensacola, FL

Job Description Minimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required. Position Overview Our partnering Specialty Pharmacy in Pensacola, Florida will need a staff pharmacist to cover a 12-week maternity leave starting in early November (moving target). Paid training will begin 2 weeks ahead of the leave start date, so pharmacist can become familiar with the pharmacy. This is a great facility and team to work with. Schedule Start: Target 10/21 (moving start date) End: 14 weeks (2 weeks training, 12 weeks leave coverage) Shift: Mon - Thurs 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Fri 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Setting: Retail HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy Responsibilities Single pharmacist site; no pharmacy technician support. Manage a volume of 10–20 prescriptions per day. Provide comprehensive counseling and follow-up for HIV/AIDS patients. Attend paid training 2 weeks before the leave start date. Maintain compliance with all federal and state pharmacy regulations. Qualifications At least 1 year of experience working in a retail pharmacy. HIV/AIDS medication experience must be noted on the resume. Experience with QS1 pharmacy software preferred. Florida pharmacy license required.
