Associate Attorney - Litigation

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Santa Ana, CA, to join their litigation team. The role involves defending complex, high-exposure cases that proceed to trial, offering associates the opportunity to play critical roles in client outcomes. Duties Take and defend depositions. Prepare and argue motions in state and federal court. Develop case strategy alongside partners, including discovery planning and records analysis. Conduct client interviews and witness preparation. Work with nationally recognized trial lawyers to prepare cases for trial. Handle research and briefing in complex litigation. Requirements California bar license. 0-6 years of litigation experience. Client-focused and collaborative approach. Strong writing, research, and analytical skills. Ability to communicate with brevity and influence decisions. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Active California Bar membership. Skills Critical thinking and strategic judgment. Ability to work independently and think on your feet.
