Job Overview

Express Employment in PLATTEVILLE, WI has partnered with a company in LANCASTER, WI to support their business in a Metal Fabricators/Welders role.

Overview:

This hands-on role involves metal cutting, measuring, reading blueprints, welding (steel, aluminum, steel pipe), working with power tools and metal saws, and performing basic electrical wiring on machinery.

Responsibilities:

Fabricate equipment using cutting, measuring, and layout tools.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Perform welding on steel, aluminum, and pipe.
Operate power tools, metal saws, and hot work equipment safely.
Assist with basic electrical wiring on machinery and equipment.
Ensure quality and accuracy in fabrication processes.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in metal fabrication, welding, or a mechanical trade.
Ability to read blueprints and measure accurately.
Skilled in using power tools and fabrication equipment.
Experience with MIG/TIG welding on various metals is a plus.
Basic understanding of machinery electrical wiring.
Strong attention to detail and safety-minded work habits.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Hours: 1st shift
