1st Shift Welder
Earlville, IA | $23/Hour
Mon-Thu | 5:00am - 3:30pm
Essential Job Functions:
Perform MIG welding on steel components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and measuring instruments.
Set up and adjust welding equipment for different materials and thicknesses.
Grind, fit, and prepare parts before and after welding.
Inspect completed welds for quality and dimensional accuracy.
Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, plasma cutters, and press brakes when needed.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Keep work areas clean and assist with routine equipment maintenance.
Lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting production and quality goals.
Qualifications:
Previous MIG welding or fabrication experience.
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
Good attention to detail and strong work ethic.
Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical work.
Reliable attendance and teamwork skills.
