Oncology Registered Nurse - Night Shift

The Oncology Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care in a 28-bed acute care Medical/Surgical Oncology inpatient unit, catering to patients undergoing surgery, chemotherapy, and biological treatments. The role requires expertise in aggressive curative therapy, symptom management, and palliative care.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to oncology patients, including surgical and medical management.
• Manage aggressive curative therapy and palliative care needs.
• Oversee symptom management and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Administer medications, including blood products and chemotherapeutics (if applicable).
• Provide patient and family education and support.
• Monitor patient conditions, recognizing and communicating abnormal lab values.

Required Experience / Certifications

• 2 Years of Oncology Nursing experience required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is essential.
• Previous surgical and oncology experience is required.
• First-timers will be accepted; however, candidates must still meet experience requirements.
