Accounting Clerk (AP/AR) - Contract to Hire

Location: City of Industry, CA (Fully Onsite)

Pay: $23-28/hour (Based on Experience)


We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in City of Industry, CA . This contract-to-hire role offers an opportunity to contribute to both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions while assisting with month-end close processes. The ideal candidate will have experience handling high-volume transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring financial accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable, including invoice coding, approvals, and payment runs (checks, ACH, wires).
• Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, payment posting, and collections follow-ups.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist with month-end close tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Support internal audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, specifically AP & AR.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and month-end close processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $28.00 per hour
