Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $96,000 to $106,500 per year.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Lead internal and external audit processes, ensuring all documentation and financial data are accurate and readily available.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions, including cost-benefit analysis and financial modeling.
• Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing detailed variance analysis.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• 6+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations, with specific experience in public accounting practices.
• Experience in a non-profit environment including government grants and contracts is a plus.
• Proficiency of accounting software ( Oracle fusion) and MS Office Suite advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a high attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial information clearly.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring junior staff.
