Manager – Auditorium (Job ID: 17577) Position Type: Support Staff (Non‑Classroom) / Manager – Auditorium Location: Desert Ridge High Date Posted: 4/22/2026 Position Length: 12 Months Job Grade: 117 Hourly Rate: $23.60 and up depending on experience Hours Per Day: 8 Application Procedure: Apply online Purpose Statement Provide technical theatre expertise and assistance for campus and community use of the auditorium; run, repair, maintain, rig theatrical equipment, and support productions and presentations. Responsibilities Assist coordination of public use of the auditorium for theater productions and community presentations. Maintain rehearsal and event schedule. Conduct in‑service presentations to train students and staff on stage and audiovisual equipment. Assist or lead construction of scenic elements for student, instructor, and community productions. Design theatrical lighting and sound systems (audio systems, specialized equipment, digital lighting, etc.). Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies. Perform preventive maintenance of stage and media equipment/furniture. Assist theater director or technical theatre teacher in training support crews and students. Produce stage support items such as props, special effects, fog, haze, smoke, and lighting. Replace defective parts or perform minor repairs to maintain equipment availability. Operate lighting and sound consoles during events. Serve as a resource to all Performing Arts curricula. Set up theater and audiovisual equipment and stage for productions. Other Functions Assist other personnel as required to support their work activities.
