Assistant Controller

Bridgepoint Consulting, An Addison Group Company is currently seeking experienced Assistant Controllers who want to join our growing Denver team, tasked with supporting our clients in a wide range of interim and project-based accounting needs. You’ll be a great fit if you have experience in: 5–8 years of hands‑on full‑cycle accounting experience Recent hands‑on experience with routine accounting processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and cash management Monthly closing procedures, monthly and quarterly financial reporting Small to mid‑sized company environment with the ability to multi‑task and wear several hats Preparing and/or reviewing monthly account reconciliations Demonstrating a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, experience researching technical GAAP issues Ability to adapt to various client environments, and communicate effectively at all levels within the organization Skills You’ll Need: Required: Bachelor’s Degree - Accounting or Finance degrees are a plus Strong desire for consulting style work and delivering excellent client service Hungry, Humble, Smart Attitude Highly Preferred: Revenue Recognition Work experience with both public and private companies Industry experience in start‑ups, technology, software, SaaS & Big Four/public accounting Hands‑on experience with accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks, NetSuite, Great Plains or Intacct), along with moderate – advanced experience with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel Preferred: A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or MBA Prior employment by a Big 4 or other nationally recognized accounting firms What We Have to Offer: Competitive Salary and quarterly bonuses Full benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision Excellent 401K employer match Fun, exciting, fast‑paced environment Strong commitment to work/life balance and the opportunity for extended periods of time off Comprehensive onboarding and ongoing personal and career development Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
