Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their team. The position primarily involves supporting back-office functions, rooming patients, taking vitals, and administering vaccinations. The Medical Assistant will see up to 30 patients in a given shift and work closely with providers at a 1.5:1 capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure patient flow and provide quality care safely and timely.
• Follow protocol for rooming and exiting patients.
• Complete provider referrals for each patient.
• Administer injections and distribute medications under physician's orders; perform venipuncture.
• Assist with charting office visits and maintain communication for comprehensive patient care coordination.

Experience

• 6 months to 1+ year of experience (open to brand new).

Qualifications

• MA-C registered through WA DOH or MA-Interim intending to take the exam 90 days prior to expiration.
• Active BLS certification.
• Requires COVID immunization documentation.
• Preferred: Experience in community health and EPIC experience.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks.
