Assistant manager

Overview Position Overview: The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is a growth role intended to develop future leaders to think strategically about the store and the district. This role works in partnership with the General Manager to run the store and make an impact on the team and community. Responsibilities Demonstrates the doing of Team Member and Shift Leader with enthusiasm and excellence Develops understanding of the business to the level of a General Manager over the course of a year Creates connections with customers and teaches the team to do the same Fosters an environment that supports fast, goal-surpassing performance through effective deployment and in-the-moment problem solving Hits sales goals through speed and service Leads on problem resolution with calm professionalism and active listening Develops understanding of Profit & Loss and connects daily tasks to business outcomes Manages administrative tasks and links daily/weekly/monthly tasks to store success Responsible for store funds while on shift and enforces cash-handling policies Manages orders, inventory, waste, dates, and rotates stock as needed Thinks holistically about store success beyond a single shift Seeks root causes to create sustainable change Embodies Core Values: Support One Another, Make Fun Happen, Be Yourself, Take Ownership, Serve With Love Engages in personal growth and welcomes feedback Leads with a global view of the Caribou brand and champions the company culture Maintains open, trusting relationship with GM Competes to hit or beat goals and create positive customer experiences Skills and Qualifications Required: 1-3 years of prior restaurant/retail experience with strong customer service Ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends Must be at least 18 years of age Preferred High school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation 1 year of supervisory experience Physical Requirements The physical requirements include hearing, speaking, seeing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing for 4 to 8 hours, with or without reasonable accommodations. Compensation Compensation Range: $16.52 - $27.53 per hour. Starting pay is subject to local and state minimum wage regulations. Ranges reflect employer expectations for such position.
