How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Triage & Patient Assessment: Rapidly evaluate and triage both in-person and telephone-based patient needs, assessing cardiovascular status and responding to acute changes to prevent unnecessary hospital readmissions.

• Diagnostics & Procedure Assistance: Facilitate daily clinic visits by preparing patients for examinations and performing, interpreting, and documenting EKG/ECG tracings and assisting with stress tests.

• Patient Education & Empowerment: Lead chronic disease management counseling—including heart failure education, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications—to improve patient outcomes and self-care.

• Care Coordination: Serve as a central point of contact between patients, cardiologists, and the multidisciplinary care team to manage prescription refills, ensure smooth clinic workflow, and guarantee continuity of care.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing required.

Education:

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• Cardiac or Cardiology experience a plus

• 3+ years of RN experience preferred
