Rapid Action Center Analyst (Greater Phoenix Area)

The world is getting darker. Someone has to hold the light. Capes encouraged. Right now, a child who was taken is walking through a truck stop with someone with someone who has no right to have them. A man wanted on a violent felony warrant is walking into a public venue full of families. A sex offender is haunting a children’s park. Most of the time, nobody knows. Safience exists to make sure someone does, and to do it without turning ordinary people into suspects. That someone is a trained analyst at the Rapid Action Center (RAC). And we’re recruiting.

WHO WE ARE

Safience builds identity intelligence for public safety. We identify two kinds of people: those who pose a real threat, and those who need to be found. Missing children. Wanted fugitives. Absconding offenders. Every record we work with comes from law enforcement or is lawfully authorized by a facility. We don’t do video or recordings. We don’t follow people. But we do help find them. Everyone not relevant to a law enforcement event is completely anonymous.

WHAT THE RAC DOES

The RAC is where technology stops and human judgment begins. No alert goes out because a machine said so. Our analysts perform industry-leading image comparison to decide whether two images show the same person. They then determine whether that identification is relevant at that time and to that location. Only then does anyone get a call. When the RAC gets it right, a child goes home.

WHO YOU ARE

You own a cape. Maybe more than one. You've always suspected you could leap tall buildings in a single bound if someone would just give you the chance. Here's the chance. 

Faster than a speeding bullet? Great. But here's the secret about this team: our real superpower is the checklist. The heroes who last in the RAC are the ones who follow the process on the thousandth case exactly as they did on the first.

• You are process-oriented to the core. Procedure isn't a cage. It's your utility belt.
• Your attention to detail borders on x-ray vision. You notice the small things other people skim past, and you check your own work before anyone else has to.
• You keep a schedule. The signal goes up, you're already there. Shift after shift.
• You stay steady under pressure. A live alert with a child's safety on the line makes you more precise, not less.
• You have the humility to say I'm not sure when you aren't. Even heroes double-check.
• You take civil liberties seriously. A wrong identification harms a real person, and you would rather let a close call go than risk it.
• You document everything, clearly and completely. Every good origin story has a paper trail.

EXPERIENCE THAT HELPS (NOT ALL REQUIRED)

• Law enforcement support, 911 dispatch, military, quality assurance, compliance, or security operations
• Any role where accuracy, procedure, and documentation were non-negotiable
• Experience working in a monitored, time-sensitive environment
• Prior experience saving the world is a plus but not required

• Paid, hands-on training in our image comparison and relevancy process before you work a single live case. Every hero gets a training montage.

• $54,080-$58,240 per year eligible for benefits
• Company benefits, including health insurance, following successful completion of the introductory training period.

REQUIREMENTS

• Availability for assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Villains don't keep business hours, so neither do we.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check. Secret identities are fine. Secret pasts are not.
• On-site in the Phoenix - East Valley
