Registered Nurse ICU

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions continuously and interpret vital signs and monitoring data.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments, including drips such as Cardizem, Insulin, Propofol, Vasopressors, and Versed.
  
  
• 
  Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations, including ventilator management and infusion adjustments.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately using hospital EMR systems and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and procedures.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and maintain certification requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid RN license with ICU experience preferred.
  
  
• 
  Obtain certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in ICU procedures, ventilator management, and use of monitoring technology.
  
  
• 
  Ability to handle high-acuity patients and work efficiently under pressure.
  
  
• 
  Be flexible to work 8 or 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  
  
• 
  Maintain excellent communication and teamwork skills.
