Press Brake Operator

Job Description Job Description Responsibilities Operate a Press Brake machine to fabricate metal components according to technical drawings and specifications Set up the machine, select appropriate tooling, and adjust parameters such as bend angles, tonnage, and material settings Load and position metal sheets or materials for bending operations Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate production Perform bending operations to meet required dimensions and tolerances Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to verify quality and accuracy Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment and work area clean and organized Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues during production Work closely with the fabrication team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects Qualifications Experience operating Press Brake machines in a fabrication or manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication diagrams Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and materials Experience setting up tooling and adjusting machine parameters for bending operations Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges Good mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues Ability to lift materials and work safely in a manufacturing environment Previous experience in HVAC, marine fabrication, or sheet metal production is a plus \nCompany Description With over 40 years in the marine industry, we are a specialized marine HVAC service company supporting vessels around the world with high-quality engineering, fabrication, and installation.
