Role Description The Parts Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in St Paul, MN. In this position, you assist customers and service technicians in identifying, locating, and selling the correct automotive parts and accessories. You will manage parts inquiries at the counter and over the phone, provide accurate pricing and availability information, and process orders, returns, and special requests. Daily tasks include maintaining organized parts displays, tracking stock levels, supporting inventory counts, and ensuring timely restocking. You also collaborate with the sales and service teams to promote parts-related offers, uphold dealership standards, and contribute to a positive, efficient customer experience. Qualifications Customer-focused skills including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a commitment to creating a positive experience for every visitor. Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication for interacting with customers, technicians, and team members. Sales abilities, including recommending appropriate parts and accessories, handling add-on sales, and meeting department sales objectives. Inventory Control skills, including tracking stock, assisting with cycle counts, and maintaining accurate records in the parts management system. Basic automotive parts knowledge or a willingness to learn quickly; prior dealership or retail parts experience is preferred. Comfort using computers and point-of-sale systems, with attention to detail in data entry and documentation. Ability to work on-site full time, stand for extended periods, and safely handle parts of varying sizes and weights.
