Lab Technician

Duration: 4 months possible to extend

Location: Princeton, NJ

Pay Rate: $23-$25

Shift: 8:00 - 5:00 pm. Flexible start and end time.

Education: BS in Science, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years in lab environment

Job Requirement:

• Ensure fine fragrance products meet perfume action.
• Test samples for performance and stability while meeting deadlines and following good laboratory practices
• Maintain a clean, organized workbench in line with laboratory best practices
• Document results, prepare reports, and present data clearly
• Contribute to a team-focused environment by supporting colleagues during periods of high workload
• Independently carry out routine testing following set procedures.
• Confidently handle all steps of testing, including preparation, execution, and accurate documentation.
• Review test results for accuracy and consistency before submission.
• Identify and report any quality deviations (e.g., OOS) according to protocols.
• Conduct first-level tests for out-of-spec results as per procedures.
• Identify recurring problems and escalate them to the appropriate person or team.
• Take care of assigned lab equipment, including calibration and basic maintenance, following GMP and safety standards.
• Complete tests and submit results within required timeframes.
• Work in line with all safety, health, and environmental (SHE) guidelines.
• Perform other tasks as needed to support lab operations.
