Summary: Cuts substrates for press use or for finished product by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned)

• Reads and understands job packet, specific sheet size requirements and magnet board schedule.
• Measures and cuts down material using guillotine for press use.
• Measures and cuts down material using guillotine for customer use.
• Stages cut material for press operator.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); experience and/or training is a plus, but not a requirement.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively with team members & management.

Math Ability:

Ability to perform basic math; to include ability to perform these operations using units of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to measure with ruler and other tools down to thousandths of an inch.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Baseline problem solving.

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. Also works extremely close with high powered cutting guillotine. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is occasionally required to walk and climb or balance.
• The employee is often required to use a pallet jack.
