Senior Oncology Specialist Territory covers: Tacoma, Spokane, WA - Coeur d' Alene, ID - Missoula, MT Relocation is not offered for this role. What you will do You will act as the primary customer contact to provide current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen's products and effectively communicate the clinical and economic benefits of the products to medical professionals. Our Senior Oncology Specialists achieve territory sales by utilizing their Oncology background and experience to: Create and execute a comprehensive territory plan, including delivering branded sales messages, executing planned programs, scheduling and following up with medical educational programs, and achieving or exceeding sales targets. Utilize internal and external relationships to service and manage accounts, ensuring product access, resolving reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts. Craft an effective marketing strategy to aid in driving sales. Analyze business effectiveness of sales activities and territory analysis, and develop territory plans with your District Manager. Maintain passion for our products throughout the sales cycle, building the brand and serving patients. Partner with colleagues to share best practices and continuously learn to grow as a Senior Oncology Specialist. Leverage passion for Oncology and disease state awareness, industry, regulatory and competitive changes to deliver agreed results. What we expect of you The sales professional we seek is a go‑getter with the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales experience or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related. Associate degree and 6 years of similar experience. High school diploma/GED and 8 years of similar experience. Preferred Qualifications Preferred experience in Oncology. Three or more years of sales and/or marketing experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device industries. Product or hospital sales experience in oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, and inflammation. Knowledge of local market. A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.
