Special Education Teacher – Riverside School Riverside Community Care Riverside School is a 766‑approved private therapeutic day school that provides student‑centered educational experiences with a low student‑to‑teacher ratio, structured group and individual therapy, and opportunities for community engagement. Responsibilities Implement the academic and classroom components of each student's individualized IEP requirements. Track data to monitor students' progress toward IEP goals. Facilitate student learning based on district requirements. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide appropriate services to students and families. Schedule & Compensation Full time, 40 hours per week (Monday‑Friday, 8 AM–4 PM). Salary: $86,985.60 – $89,107.20 per year for Master’s level with licensure (adjusted for experience); $72,134.40 per year for Bachelor’s level with licensure. School year: 12 months. Qualifications Master’s degree in Special Education with licensure in moderate disabilities (strongly preferred); Bachelor’s degree with licensure required. One year of post‑degree experience working with children and/or adolescents in an academic setting preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required for local travel.
