Digital M&A Director

Lead digital M&A, integration, and carve-out initiatives across the transaction lifecycle Provide strategic advisory, program leadership, and IT due diligence support Engage clients to address M&A integration and carve-out program challenges Lead IT diligence activities, including data room reviews, diligence calls, request lists, and integration/separation strategies Develop diligence reports, transition services recommendations, and deal-related deliverables Provide industry expertise, particularly in manufacturing and distribution environments Lead end-to-end digital initiatives, managing scope, timelines, resources, and budgets Establish project governance, integrated plans, schedules, resource strategies, and risk management frameworks Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies Monitor project health and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations Manage and develop project managers through coaching, performance management, and professional development Lead cross-functional teams and governance forums Build and maintain relationships with clients, leadership teams, vendors, advisors, and stakeholders Facilitate governance meetings and deliver project communications, status reports, and executive updates Manage engagement budgets, forecasts, margins, financial tracking, resource utilization, and project economics Support change readiness, adoption, and business objectives Improve delivery methodologies, tools, standards, collaboration practices, consistency, quality, scalability, and operational excellence Requirements 8 years of relevant experience required Bachelor's degree required; combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree No certifications or licenses required Project Management Institute, Agile, and/or Scrum certifications preferred Significant travel required (>50%) Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in leading digital M&A initiatives, integrating project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall, and providing strategic advisory in manufacturing and distribution environments.
