Clinical Supervisor

Clinical SupervisorWayside Youth and Family Support Network's Lowell site is seeking a driven, innovative, strengths-based Clinical Supervisor. Lowell Community Services site is a community-based program serving children, adolescents, and families referred by the Department of Mental Health, Department of Children and Families as well as insurance funded services through the CSA. In this fast-paced program, the Clinical Supervisor will assist the Program Director and management team in overseeing all aspects of the program. The Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical supervision to CSA program staff and interns, as well as providing direct care to a small caseload of youth and families. The Clinical Supervisor is an individual with established experience in navigating behavioral health systems, wraparound principles and leading supervisees in expanding their therapeutic skills and interventions. The Clinical Supervisor will team with the Program Director to assure the program is providing high quality therapeutic care that is individualized, culturally responsive, and aligned with Wayside's mission and values.What You Will Do:Provide weekly supervision to Clinicians, Intensive Care Coordinators (ICCs), Youth and Family Support Workers, Family Partners, Interns, and any other program staffComplete annual performance evaluations for supervisees'Conduct and review diagnostic assessments and create treatment plans/Individualized Action PlansFacilitate/co-facilitate staff meetingsCoordinate training program for staffProvide face to face emergency coverage to clients when on call and provide back-up to clinicians who are on-callProvide emergency support and assistance to staff in the programProvide advocacy and care coordination with collaterals as necessary and as requested by familiesAttend all necessary collateral meetings as requiredParticipate in in-service trainings as offered at Wayside Youth & Family and participate in ongoing educational opportunities as required by professional licensing bodiesParticipate in Program Quality Management and Utilization ReviewReview and approve clinical documentation ensuring compliance with fundersProvide direct clinical services to clients, including, but not limited to in-home individual, couple, and family therapy, care coordination, behavior management and crisis interventionParticipate in agency-wide initiatives to assure and improve clinical qualityAssist in developing continuity of service between other services within Wayside and among collateral providersCoordination and reporting to MCEsPerform other functions as assigned by the Program Director.Competencies/Traits of Our Superstars:Demonstrates high quality customer service (i.e. the ability to connect with others, approachability, respectful to others)Demonstrates belief in the Agency's mission and valuesDemonstrates strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlinesDemonstrates high ability to multi-task through assessing, managing, and adapting to competing prioritiesHolds knowledge of a broad range of mental health/illnesses, treatment, modalities, and theoryDemonstrates knowledge of how to navigate and access behavioral health services and systems, including DCF, DMH, special education law/services, and other social service resourcesDemonstrates strong problem solving and analytical skillsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:Knowledge of child welfare, CBHI, behavior management, adolescent development, parenting issues, individual/family therapy, DSM-V TR, trauma-informed care, and psychopharmacologyKnowledge of reflective supervisionProven ability to manage clinical issues.Minimum Requirements:Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or another related human services fieldIndependent licensure requiredMinimum of two (2) years of supervisory experienceMinimum of three (3) years experience in direct service with children, adolescents, and familiesDriving in the community is a requirement of this position; please ensure you have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.We will train you in: Motivational Interviewing; Courageous Conversations; Attachment, Regulation and Competency Model (ARC); Trauma Informed Practice; Substance Use Intervention; Risk and Safety Assessment
