Key Responsibilities Build and nurture trusting relationships with clients, ensuring they feel safe and valued during therapy sessions. Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews to inform treatment plans. Develop customized treatment plans that align with the specific needs of each client, adapting the approach as necessary based on ongoing evaluation. Lead individual and group therapy sessions by employing diverse therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and solution-focused therapy. Regularly review and document client progress, adjusting treatment strategies to optimize therapeutic outcomes. Facilitate referrals to specialists as appropriate, ensuring a comprehensive support network for clients experiencing complex mental health issues. Participate in supervision and team meetings to discuss case management, share insights, and stay informed on best practices in mental health treatment. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with a diverse clientele including individuals and families from various backgrounds, each facing their own unique mental health challenges. The patient population may range from those coping with anxiety and depression to families navigating communication barriers or relational conflicts. This diversity demands a culturally sensitive approach and the ability to engage with clients empathetically and effectively. Qualifications Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Arizona. Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Demonstrated experience in providing individual and/or group therapy, particularly in a clinical setting. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, essential for handling a diverse caseload and administrative responsibilities. Preferred Experience Prior experience working in a community health or outpatient setting. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, which streamline documentation and enhance patient management. Specialized training or certifications in therapeutic modalities relevant to family therapy. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
