Get started!   Requisition SummaryPACCAR is seeking a Meetings, Events and Marketing Purchasing Manager to join a strong and growing Indirect Purchasing team. This individual will have responsibility for the development and implementation of Indirect Procurement strategies, leading sourcing activities, and ensuring the programs are aligned with global and regional program objectives. This individual will focus on continuous process improvements while providing exceptional customer service and cost savings in alignment with company initiatives.This position is located in Bellevue, WA.   Job Functions / ResponsibilitiesLead & support the development of long-term enterprise-wide category strategies.Identify and implement strategies that minimize or mitigate risk to PACCAR.Create and maintain policies & procedures for assigned category.Manage internal communication of category initiatives and reporting of results.Monitor category spend and continuously evaluate options to reduce total cost of ownership.Develop and Issue formal market tests via Requests for Information, Proposals and Quotes (RFIs, RFPs, & RFQs.)Benchmark internal and external costs against industry and competitive standards.Facilitate the execution and ongoing maintenance of LTAs, MSAs, and other commercial agreements.Drive negotiations to deliver the most competitive pricing and enterprise-level benefits.Provide support to divisions by aligning priorities and regional opportunities.Building strategic supplier relationships.Continuous evaluation/assessment of supplier performance.Lead and manage quarterly/annual business reviews.Ensuring compliance to contracts and established service level agreements.Collaborate and lead projects and work cross functionally with regional and global teams.Drive and implement continuous process improvement activities.Interface with all levels of management in all regions.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Skills5+ years of work experience.3+ years’ experience in Commodity Management, Meetings & Events, Marketing, Travel Sourcing, or other related experience.Demonstrated and successful experience in evaluating and negotiating complex agreements.Experience of performing Strategic Sourcing roles from spend analysis to commodity strategy creation and management.Ability to work with leaders globally (in other countries and/or time zones as needed).SAP (or similar procure-to-pay platform) experience preferred.Ability to effectively communicate to internal and external stakeholders.Creative, self-motivated, quality, and results-driven work ethic.CompetenciesAct with Integrity Demonstrate Adaptability Drive for Results Influence Others Lead Innovation and Quality Initiatives Manage Execution Manage Talent Use Sound Judgment / Business Acumen Education RequiredBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Leisure Services Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field required.  Masters or MBA preferred.  BenefitsAs a U.S. PACCAR employee, you have a full range of benefit options including:401k with up to a 5% company matchFully funded pension plan that provides monthly benefits after retirementComprehensive paid time off – minimum of 10 paid vacation days (additional days are provided with additional seniority/years of service), 12 paid holidays, and sick timeTuition reimbursement for continued educationMedical, dental, and vision plans for you and your familyFlexible spending accounts (FSA) and health savings account (HAS)Paid short-and long-term disability programsLife and accidental death and dismemberment insuranceEAP services including wellness plans, estate planning, financial counseling and moreThis position is also eligible for a holiday gift.Additional Job Board InformationPACCAR is an E-Verify and Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veteran/Disability. The salary range for Commodity Manager role is $90,400 – 141,800 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
