About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care on a 10-bed Maternal Fetal Medicine / Antepartum High Risk Pregnancy unit with a 1:3-4 patient ratio
• Assist with and support procedures including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-Hyst
• Perform immediate newborn care following delivery
• Utilize Baxter Pumps and Philips electronic fetal monitoring equipment; document care using Cerner and FetaLink EMR systems
• Float to L&D, MOMB, and NICU as needed
• Maintain current NRP, BLS/ALS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications throughout the assignment

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• High-risk obstetric experience required
• Immediate newborn care experience required
• Required certifications: NRP, BLS/ALS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring

• Circulating experience in an OR or delivery setting
• Outgoing, friendly, and adaptable personality well-suited to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Familiarity with Cerner and/or FetaLink documentation platforms

• Work within a specialized, high-acuity Maternal Fetal Medicine unit caring for high-risk pregnancies in a supportive team environment
• Scrub attire is provided on unit - one less thing to worry about on assignment
