Description - Your Role in Patient Care

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, strictly adhering to established protocols.
• Analyze test results, investigate any discrepancies, and ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis when necessary.
• Keep detailed records of all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and ensure that lab quality standards are consistently met.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Ongoing maintenance of your certification throughout your employment is essential.
