We are currently seeking a full-time patient coordinator to join our team in our Sarasota location. The position is full-time with excellent benefits.The patient coordinator is a vital part of the office team as the first point of contact with the patients. They are responsible for answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments and collecting copays in a professional and friendly manner.Additional Job ResponsibilitiesAnswer phones timelySchedule patient appointmentsCollects co-payments and outstanding balancesFiling, faxing and other miscellaneous front desk tasksKnowledge of multiple insurances, referral and authorization processTroubleshoot insurance claims issuesDevelop competency with EMR and practice management systemQualificationsExcellent communication skillsFlexibility with hours and local area travelComputer proficiency for an office nearly 100% electronic (Scanning, uploading, downloading, document transfer)Ability to work in multiple software programs/applicationsExhibit patience and compassionAbility to prioritize tasks properlySalary commensurate with experience.
