ABOUT THE ROLE

We have a large and growing user base, with an opportunity to deepen our understanding of what drives conversion, willingness to pay, and long-term subscription value. We’re looking for a Senior Mixed Methods UX Researcher in New York to lead this work. This is a quantitatively oriented role focused on using rigorous research and measurement to shape product and growth decisions, complemented by qualitative research when deeper user insight is needed. You’ll partner closely with product and cross-functional leaders across growth, monetization, and subscriptions, helping inform fast-moving decisions around pricing, packaging, and conversion. This role adds deep research expertise to the team. You’ll set a high bar for methodological rigor, clarify what the research can reliably answer, and guide stakeholders toward well-supported decisions. Listen to the song we made about this role!

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead end-to-end research that informs product, growth, and monetization decisions.
• Use a range of research methods to understand customer needs, behaviors, and preferences.
• Partner closely with product, design, data, and other cross-functional teams.
• Build scalable approaches for measuring customer sentiment and product performance over time.
• Clearly communicate what the research shows, what it does not show, and what the team should consider next.

WHO YOU ARE

• You have experience leading quantitative or mixed-methods research for consumer products or services.
• You can select practical, rigorous research methods based on the question and business context.
• You are comfortable working with surveys, experiments, behavioral data, or related forms of customer insight.
• You communicate clearly and can help cross-functional partners turn research into decisions.
• You are curious, collaborative, and comfortable working through ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
