UX Researcher

Hubnest builds vertical specific product engines for industries that require high operational precision. Founded in 2014, the company has spent twelve years embedded in the operational realities of the industries it serves, developing four purpose built products used by organizations across field services, political and civic operations, continuing care, and enterprise security. You are the voice of the user within Hubnest, uncovering behavioral insights from field operators and enterprise decision-makers. You will conduct rigorous qualitative and quantitative research to ensure our products solve validated operational problems. What You Will Be Doing Plan, design, and conduct generative and evaluative research studies utilizing defined methodologies. Conduct in-depth user interviews and contextual inquiries with field service technicians and continuing care staff. Synthesize raw qualitative data into actionable, prioritized insights utilizing affinity mapping and thematic analysis. Present validated research findings, user journey maps, and behavioral personas to C-level executives and product leadership. Collaborate with Product Managers to define research objectives that directly inform the product roadmap. Maintain and scale an organized, searchable internal repository of all historical UX research data and user interview recordings. Develop, distribute, and analyze large-scale quantitative surveys to validate broad market assumptions. Evaluate live product usability through moderated and unmoderated usability testing sessions utilizing high-fidelity prototypes. Map complex offline operational workflows and identify areas where digital intervention creates measurable efficiency. Track and measure baseline UX metrics including Task Success Rate, Time-on-Task, and System Usability Scale across major product releases. Cultivate and manage a panel of active client end-users willing to participate in ongoing beta testing. What We Are Looking For 4+ years of professional experience as a UX Researcher in the technology sector. 3+ years of verifiable experience conducting research for complex B2B SaaS or enterprise software products. 3+ years of proficiency utilizing industry-standard research tooling such as UserTesting, Maze, Qualtrics, or Dovetail. 2+ years of experience executing contextual field research or ethnographic studies observing users in their physical work environments. 3+ years of experience utilizing qualitative synthesis methods including affinity mapping and thematic coding. 2+ years of experience utilizing basic statistical analysis to interpret large-scale quantitative survey results. 3+ years of experience collaborating within Figma and Miro alongside product design teams. Strong presentation skills with a track record of persuading technical engineering teams to act on research data. Empathy, active listening skills, and the ability to maintain objectivity during data collection. A research portfolio demonstrating complex study designs, raw data synthesis, and measurable product impact. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Anthropology, or a related behavioral science.
