Line LeaderThe Line Leader oversees the production line.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee production line of 10-15 peopleInspect product to determine whether it meets acceptable standards of qualityResponsible for motivating production employees and direct work flow to maximize efficiencyScan product out of and into inventory using hand held scannerOperate bagging machine and overwrap machineKeep track of supplies usedDirect crew to keep area clean and organizedOperate equipment such as forklift and pallet jacks as needed, in a safe mannerPerform responsibilities in accordance with policies and procedures of companyCommunicate with supervisor for guidance on issues and problems and try to achieve a solutionPerform other duties as assignedMust be willing to work overtime and come in on scheduled days offBenefitsMedical, Vision, Dental insurance and many more voluntary coverage optionsCompany paid Life Insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability, and Identity Theft insurance.FMLA, Traditional and Roth 401K, Matching and Profit Sharing (when eligible), FSA and HSA optionsPaid Vacation, Sick Leave and HolidaysSchedule:Monday: 1pm - finishTuesday: 2pm - finishThur & Friday - 1pm until finishWednesday & Sat - Off (rotating Sundays)Requirements:Education Requirements: High school Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be able to read and write English. Must be able to display basic arithmetic skills.Training, Skills, Licenses: 1 year of experience working in a warehouse, Electric Pallet Jack experience and/or Produce experience is preferred.Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee is frequently exposed to wet, loud, cold and/or humid conditions. The employee frequently is required to walk, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, rotate or twist, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
