Logistics Analyst II

In support of Facilities Supply & Service Operational Services, we are seeking a Logistics Analyst II who specializes in Birthing and has experience in supporting DOD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/ principles/organizational protocols. Responsibilities General requirements are as follows: Under direct supervision, assists in providing integrated logistics support activities designed to provide effective and efficient life cycle support of systems and equipment. Reviews customer requirements and other data to plan and develop program activities from conceptual stage through the full life cycle of the system. Provide technical expertise in the areas of Marine Corps logistics, material and supply management. Ability to facilitate accountability in retail- and enterprise-level inventory activities and units. Ability to prepare, maintain and control essential supporting documentation to document major events in a capital asset’s lifecycle from acquisition, transference, sub custody and final disposition and/or disposal in support of existence and completeness. Propose and manage new mechanisms to improve project workflow efficiencies and proactively identify points of weakness and inefficiency, working with project leads to identify solutions. Ability to understand and fulfill the client’s current needs through anticipating and proactively addressing future needs and executing on those efforts. Proactive, professional, and detail oriented. Specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following: Process asset entry into GCSS-MC and DPAS. Manage MILSTRIP documentation. Reconcile Due-In and Status Files (DASFs). Maintain sub-custody records. Assist in internal control implementation. Conduct trend analysis and reporting. Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree 4 years of related experience (minimum) Specific/Preferred Requirements Working knowledge and experience in the following: Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps (GCSS-MC). Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS). Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE/WAWF/EDA). FEDMALL,WebFLIS, PDREP, Logistics Data Gateway (LDG), and ETMS2. Experience preparing and maintaining auditable documentation. Ability to conduct causative research and resolve account discrepancies. Familiarity with Marine Corps internal control programs and audit compliance requirements. Experience facilitating Government property transfers (GFP). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage high-volume transactional workload. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data entry. Ability to work independently under limited supervision. Physical Demands This position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, speak and hear, and to use hands and arms for routine work tasks. The employee may occasionally lift or move items up to 30 pounds. Vision abilities required include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
