Robert Half is partnering with a well-established Registered Investment Firm in the East Bay. They are looking for an Operations Manager to support business operations while partnering closely with senior leadership to keep priorities moving efficiently across the organization. This position plays a central role in improving internal processes, guiding cross-functional initiatives, and providing operational support across administrative, human resources, and compliance-related activities. The ideal candidate brings a practical, organized approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a services environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Office Manager and Chief Operating Officer to maintain effective daily business operations and address evolving organizational needs.

• Direct operational initiatives from initial planning through execution, ensuring milestones are met and stakeholders remain informed.

• Review existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend practical improvements that strengthen overall productivity.

• Coordinate projects that involve multiple teams, helping departments stay aligned on timelines, deliverables, and implementation steps.

• Provide support for technology rollouts, process updates, and operational enhancements that improve how the firm functions.

• Assist leadership with broader company initiatives by organizing tasks, tracking progress, and helping drive strategic operational priorities.

• Act as an internal point of contact for staff who need guidance on operational procedures, tools, and best practices.

• Partner with human resources efforts by supporting employee relations documentation, manager coaching processes, compensation communications, and employee lifecycle activities.

• Work alongside compliance professionals and internal teams to help carry out compliance-related projects, communicate updates, and reinforce adherence to established procedures.

• At least 3 years of experience in operations, preferably within financial services, wealth management, or a similar services setting.

• Demonstrated familiarity with human resources administration, employee relations support, office operations, or related functional areas.

• Strong project management and organizational abilities with a proven capacity to balance competing priorities effectively.

• Comfort with learning new technology platforms and contributing to system implementations or process enhancements.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate successfully across different levels of the organization.

• A proactive, hands-on work style with sound judgment and a solutions-focused mindset.

• Ability to work cross-functionally with compliance stakeholders, even without prior direct compliance experience.

Title: Operations Manager

Report To: Chief Operating Officer

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Compensation: $85-110k (DOE) + Discretionary Bonus + Amazing Benefits
