Woodhull Medical Center, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Sign On Bonus Eligible

Position Summary We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, an affiliate partner of Health and Hospitals, in the Department of Anesthesia at Woodhull Medical Center. Job Responsibilities Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's Core Values and incorporates them into performance duties. Attends in-service training programs, conferences, and departmental meetings to keep abreast of current knowledge in anesthesiology and improve patient care. Performs appropriate pre‑anesthesia assessment and post‑anesthesia evaluation and follow‑up of the patient. Performs invasive arterial/venous cannulations and monitors vital functions, including blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels, and fluid volume. Performs life support functions during the period in which anesthesia is administered, including induction and intubation procedures. Administers general/regional and local anesthesia for patients undergoing surgical and obstetrical procedures on an elective or emergency basis. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Current NYS RN License. CRNA Certification or GRNA certificate with letter qualifying to sit for the national boards. Advanced degree in Nursing required. 4–5 years of similar experience required. Must be comfortable working rotating shifts. Salary The salary range for this role is $267,416.00 – $267,416.00 annually. Actual salaries depend on experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
