Pediatric Hospitalist: Newborns, Inpatient Care & Mentoring

Pediatric Hospitalist – Staten Island University Hospital Cohen Children’s Northwell Health is seeking a full‑time board eligible/board certified Pediatric Hospitalist at Staten Island University Hospital. We offer an evidence‑based, rewarding clinical practice in a collegial unit staffed 24/7 by Pediatric Residents and advanced care practitioners. Candidates will enjoy working in our recently opened state‑of‑the‑art Gruppuso Women and Newborn Center (30 private rooms and 4,000 annual deliveries) and our future new inpatient pediatric unit which is currently in development. Highlights Participate in developing clinical protocols Supervising trainees in our ACGME‑accredited pediatric residency program Opportunities to participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives This is an exceptional opportunity to join a collaborative team of four Pediatric Hospitalists covering both newborn nursery and inpatient pediatrics. Our 20‑bed inpatient pediatric unit is supported by all pediatric subspecialties, as well as pediatric general surgery, orthopedics, trauma, otolaryngology, and ophthalmology. Pediatric intensivists cover our 4‑bed PICU. Labor & Delivery is covered by our Level 3 NICU and 24/7 in‑house neonatologists.
