LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse, Med-Psych Night Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in patient assessments and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and follow individualized care plans.
• Administer medications as prescribed and adjust care based on age-specific physiological needs.
• Maintain accurate and relevant patient care records and facilitate a safe environment.

Education and Training

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a Compact state or the relevant regional licensure is necessary.

Experience

No prior work experience required; however, positive interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication are essential.

Requirements

• Knowledge of age-specific physiological and psychosocial patient needs.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Speech and auditory acuity for effective communication.
• Visual acuity for patient observation.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
