Job Description

A well-established and highly regarded litigation firm in Connecticut is seeking a driven Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain hands-on experience across a diverse caseload while working in a collaborative, high-performance environment. About the Opportunity This role offers exposure to a broad range of litigation matters, with a primary focus on personal injury , while also remaining open to candidates with experience in medical malpractice, probate, criminal law, or general civil litigation . The firm values attorneys who are adaptable, motivated, and capable of managing cases with increasing independence.


Key Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of litigation from intake through resolution
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, and mediations
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and development
• Maintain strong client communication and case management practices

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of litigation experience (personal injury strongly preferred)
• Admitted to the Connecticut Bar and in good standing
• Admission to the New York Bar is a plus, but not required
• Strong writing, analytical, and courtroom skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
• Professional transparency regarding any past grievances (not disqualifying, but must be disclosed)

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $100,000 - $135,000 (commensurate with experience)
