Facilities Manager

Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including building maintenance, utilities management, and site services. Serve as a point of contact for facility-related issues, ensuring timely resolution of building, equipment, and infrastructure needs. Manage preventative maintenance programs for facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Coordinate and supervise third-party vendors and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies. Partner with production and maintenance teams to align facility operations with manufacturing needs and minimize disruptions. Monitor facility budgets, track expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance documentation. Support capital projects, including facility upgrades, expansions, and equipment installations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to facility efficiency, energy usage, and sustainability efforts. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in facilities management within a manufacturing environment. Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience). Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance practices. Experience managing vendors, contractors, and capital improvement projects. Familiarity with OSHA regulations, environmental compliance, and safety standards. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments. Experience with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to facility maintenance and improvements.
