Job Overview

Job Opportunity – Anesthesiologist – Pennsylvania

Start Date: Multiple dates available (September through November)

Location: Pennsylvania

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts); occasional 16-hour shifts based on daily assignment; night call coverage 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM as needed

Highlights:

• Supervise CRNAs at a 1:3 provider-to-room ratio in a 135-bed facility
• Broad case mix including Vascular, OB/GYN, General Surgery, GI, Pediatrics, Plastics, Orthopedics, Robotics, and Urology
• Regional block and nerve block anesthesia required for high-volume orthopedic procedures
• Epic EMR system; deliver patient-centered care across multiple surgical and procedural areas
• Ongoing contract opportunity with 3-4 FTE coverage needs per month
• Temporary privileges available for qualified candidates with clean credentialing files

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Active Pennsylvania medical license (or IMLC/LOQ) required prior to submission
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications
• Proficiency in MAC, regional anesthesia, spinal techniques, and ultrasound-guided procedures
• Must be comfortable providing regional nerve blocks and taking night call as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
• Clean malpractice history (no settlements over $500K or more than 3 total settlements)
