Job Overview

Job Opportunity – General Cardiology – Pennsylvania

Start Date: May 18 or June 8

Location: Pennsylvania

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time ongoing assignment with clinic, procedures, and call coverage. Typical day shifts run 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM with night call (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and 24-hour call responsibilities approximately 1-2 nights per week. Weekend call coverage rotates 1:4 or 1:5.

Highlights:

• Outpatient clinic and in-lab procedures with 17-18 patients per day
• Adult patient population in a 150-bed hospital setting
• Collaborative environment with APP support and interventional cardiology team
• EPIC EMR system in use
• In-lab procedures 3 days per week including nuclear reads, stress tests, TEEs, cardioversions, echo monitoring
• Ongoing assignment with multiple coverage blocks scheduled through December

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Nuclear certification and Echo certification required
• CT certification preferred but not required
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC in hand
• Valid DEA certification required
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
• No malpractice settlements exceeding $500K or more than 3 settlements total (cases over 20 years old may be considered)
• Availability to commit to scheduled coverage blocks including specific dates from July through December
