About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in acute care experience within the last 3 years License: RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: MS/Tele experience required Description: Evening/Night shifts available, requiring every other weekend and some holidays. ACLS and BLS certifications are required. Experience in MS/Tele is required. This position requires a nursing license. Candidates must pass a telemetry test prior to clearance to start. The unit cares for patients recovering from vascular and cardiothoracic surgeries. Interventions may include managing chest tubes, feeding tubes, and insulin drips. Nurses will work with various patient populations, including those post-cardiac surgeries. Candidates will be part of a patient-and-family-centered environment. Teamwork and collaboration are essential for supporting quality improvement initiatives. The unit values the use of evidence-based practice in patient care. Travelers may be required to float as needed. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in telemetry interpretation. Candidates have two attempts to pass the telemetry exam, with strict passing criteria. This role offers an opportunity to advance nursing skills in a progressive care environment.
